My First Blog

So I'm Misty as you most likely know and I'm married to the best man imaginable, Doug! Currently life is pretty good. We are living at my parents house getting ready to go to school and hopefully start a family. I just had my first anniversary and it was certainly an eye opener. I keep thinking that there is no way that someone like me can deserve to be happy all of the time. I keep waiting for something to tragically end my wonderful way of life, but on my first anniversary I finally realized that this is it. I'm going to live with all of this love for the rest of my life. I know it may not be so profound as it seems to me but I finally have this tangible grasp on knowing that I will have the rest of my life to learn to love, laugh and play.

I'm working right now on writing a book, ya I know typical, stupid, young, but a life long dream of mine. Ask me about it and I'll let you read what I have so far, I'm hoping it will pan out not necessarily to epic proportions, but just to finish it. Maybe I'll even splurge and have it bound or something silly and put it on my book shelf. My imagination has run rampant for many years and I started writing, well as long ago as I could imagine. Whether it was poetry, short stories, or rpg posts I've always loved writing.

Right now I'm waiting for books to come out on the 25th of this month and I'm super stoked. Patricia Briggs my favorite author is putting out two new books that day and another author I like Michelle Mead is publishing the last book in the Vampire Academy series. Yes, I know vampires cheesy hey what can I say, I'm still a girl. Anyway I can't wait for the 25th so I can plow through 3 books in two days. Well for now I'm off to work ha, I dont een hae to move from this spot (I work at home)!
