B-day/ V-day

So it's Valentines day again and of course that is the day after my b-day. Lets start there then, we had Jason and Kylie over for homemade pizza. We all had a fun time listening to Jason try to speak but for some reason almost all his words got scrambled. We played Kings in the corner and skipbo and then ate the most beautiful cake ever! I made a wish I do hope will come true along with big birthday kisses from doug. I think it was a success, dispite the being sick thing that is still going on. I've been having to sleep on the couch so i don't wake up Doug from all my coughing =( Then comes Valentines day and I had the brilliant idea to (while on cough syrup with codine) take a bunch of kids spider man v-day things and write love quotes on them for doug. He loved it and not to mention the spiderman table cloth they were sitting on =) Though I it took a little of me interpreting my own handwriting to read through them all. Along with that I wrote two poems and maybe I'll post them on here when it's daylight and I don't have to move to get them.
He on the other hand did almost the same thing for me. I didn't know what he was doing but he went into our room and when I came in there were tons of little kid valentines day things on the bed that were harry potter. Along with some chocolates, a teddy bear he got out of a claw machine, and those little sweet heart candies. For dinner we went out on a limb and made stuffed mushrooms (I'll give you guys the recipie later yum) and stuffed green peppers. Oh ya and root beer in the crystal wine glasses my mom gave me and doug. We lit the candles and put a table cloth on the table and while we ate James called. We then had a long conversation about the Percy Jackson movie before we continued with dinner. All in all it was a great valentines day and birthday and I can't wait until later this week when I get to celebrate my birthday with my parents.
Being 21 now doesn't feel any different but I can tell you I keep thinking that i'm getting old too fast. Ya I know I got a long way to go but still 21 is a big deal. Doug turns 24 and I still think 24 year olds are way older than me. I just need to get out of the mindset of a teenager I guess and remember that age doesn't matter so much anymore. Well it's late and I'm hoping that tonight I will finally sleep when I want to.
